Celebrate UCI's early days

Since 1978, Celebrate UCI — which returns Saturday, April 18, to Aldrich Park — has been one of the campus's favorite rites of spring. Here's a look back at UCI's annual open house, encompassing the Wayzgoose Medieval Faire, begun in 1972 to energize social life on campus. Today, Celebrate UCI remains a day when alumni, staff, faculty and students join surrounding community members for food, games, crafts and displays by UCI organizations.
