Welcome Week begins with a New Student Convocation at 9:15 a.m. Monday, Sept. 20, at the Bren Events Center. Other first-day activities include a Dean's Welcome, an Anteater Involvement Fair and Late Night with Campus Recreation.

'Abraham & Isaac' world premiere, Sept. 29-Oct. 2

Biblical painting

The Claire Trevor School of the Arts will debut "Abraham & Isaac," a modern drama about an American college troupe that takes its medieval English-Bible play and all-male choir to Jerusalem, hoping to find common ground among the city's Arab and Jewish populations. Written and directed by drama professor Robert Cohen, with Hebrew, Persian and English music sung by Men in Blaque. 8 p.m. Sept. 29 & 30 and Oct. 1 & 2. $9-$10. Claire Trevor Theatre.
